Deep garnet-purple colored, it leaps from the glass with vivacious notes of warm cassis, blueberry pie, and kirsch, leading to touches of cumin seed, violets, and dark chocolate. The full-bodied palate is densely laden with black fruit preserves, supported by grainy tannins and just enough freshness, finishing spicy.  Pairs well with steak or other red meat options.
